Our kitchen has all the essentials for making a home cooked meal.  The local Lowe's Grocery Store has a variety of foods and spices. A small meat market called "4th Street Market" is located on 612 Chandler St.  If you are looking for depth in variety we recommend you stop at HEB prior to arrival.

Pergola and Fire pit

The backyard is ready for some rest and relaxation.  We have a Texas size BBQ pit.  With a built-in rotisserie for a large meal or a simple cozy fire for s’mores it makes a perfect way to end the day.

Any time that is in use, please extend the water hose and have it nearby.  Please keep track of any burning ban during droughts.  If you're unsure about a burn ban, please call (830) 833-5009. Most importantly, turn it off before calling it a night. 

Under the Texas night sky, it’s one of the prettiest things you'll ever see.   

Don't forget the front of the house. The front porch is perfect for a relaxing cup of coffee in the morning. 

At night, sit back and enjoy the Texas sky.  It's perfect all year round.

 

Sound+

 

Small speakers are available for your musical enjoyment under the pergola, in the master bedroom, in the second bedroom and in the living room area  (nothing major or over the top).  We have great neighbors, so we ask that you please respect and be considerate those nearby.  The master bedroom has a record player.  You are welcome to bring your own albums if you happen to have some, but if you don't, two will be available.  Please make sure children do not play with the record player or the album(s).    

The sound bar that is located below the TV in the living area can be connected easily.   The source light is amber for the AUX connection.     

We kindly ask that you please return all remotes to the "remote designated areas" when not in use so that we may find them easily for the next guests.  

 

Blanco State Park

located half a block away

Simply walk down the street and enjoy the park. Blanco State Park is an entry level park, meaning you don’t have to do much hiking to enjoy the park amenities. We keep plenty of accessories for a picnic at the park. Within a few minutes you can load your car and enjoy a picnic at the park. We have folding chairs, bbq utensils and other necessities for a small trip.
